Cybersecurity Engineer
Help deliver dependable cybersecurity controls through careful planning, technical implementation, validation, troubleshooting, and clear documentation.
What you'll do
- Assess technical environments, document requirements, and help map appropriate safeguards to client needs.
- Configure and validate identity controls, endpoints, cloud protections, monitoring integrations, and other technologies within agreed service scopes.
- Coordinate implementations and troubleshooting with Avermont teammates and authorized technical specialists.
- Support recovery testing, vulnerability assessment, and remediation verification when relevant to the engagement.
- Assist with security investigations and appropriate, approved technical response actions.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, changes, handovers, and client-facing explanations.
